PROBLEM

The dictionary defines a problem as an obstacle, impediment, difficulty or challenge, or any situation that invites resolution; the resolution of which is recognized as a solution or contribution toward a known purpose or goal. To me ‘PROBLEM’ is a seven letter word that means so many different things to each and every person. For the woman who lost her only son problem is grief, pain and burdens of a lonely path ahead. The school child who can’t study because he’s dyslexic problem is a series of dancing patterns, taunting him. PROBLEM is a word which everyone uses. It means different things to different people but it doesn’t mean that it can’t mean the same thing to everyone. A problem is what you make it out to be, it is a problem only until you get ready and say, hey let’s solve it!
What sort of world would this be if no one had problems? I mean imagine that everything was perfect. Nothing, out of place, no one hurting, no one upset or sad or unhappy. I’d say one thing for sure it would put a lot of medical personnel out of their jobs! No need for doctors, shrinks, psychologists or psychiatrists. Everyone would just be so dam perfect, everything so dam perfect and we’d live in these little bubbles of perfection! Yeah, ideal world eh? Come on what fun is it living without problems? I know they seem like a pain in the butt to deal with, but if you didn’t have them you life wouldn’t be perfect it would be imperfect.
We would all be so perfect that we would truly want to kill each other out of sheer boredom. Imagine living with that perfect husband, or wife or son. Everyday you’d come home to find your house clean, the garden tended to, dinner on the table, flowers in the vase, your children smiling cheerfully because they’ve fulfilled their duties. I don’t know about you but I’d just want to scream!
Fairy tales and fantasies with their happy endings make us too want happy endings. We all want happy endings and la di da lives. But come on without problems we would not be perfect. IMPERFECTION that’s what makes us different, unique. Nobody is perfect, hell find one person who is perfect and i’ll give you a 1000 bucks. God created the world, but we created the problems. He made us mountains but we destroy them.
The world is full of problems, from the Tsunami’s to the earthquakes, to poverty, hatred and crime. Every road bends, every mountain has curves and bumps and just like that every human being has problems. It’s time we stop being so oblivious to the outside world, everybody has problems; you have a problem, well so do I! Don’t sit on it, go out and do something about it. Haven’t you heard about the boy who cried wolf? Well, if he hadn’t cried wolf, we would have never known he had a problem would we now? :D
Life is problem, it’s full of problems but don’t let problems be your enemy. Make it your friend, your best friend if you have to. No  point crying over spilt milk, wipe it off and you don’t got no problem! Drop some more and you got yourself a PROBLEM! J
